Most of our expert panel discussions are about 60 minutes. Some run longer than others depending on the depth of the topic and the number of panelists. Any remaining time is used to address questions from attendees. Houston Senior Living Series begin promptly at 10:30 AM and finish by Noon.

If our staff is unable to answer your questions, we will direct you to one of our many subject matter experts who will be happy to assist you.

Nope. No sales pitch from Houston Senior Living Series. You will have an opportunity to get to know the presenters, panelists, and hosts and can decide for yourself if it makes sense to request their services or products. Presenters and speakers may have materials available for you to take home, but it’s up to you to pick them up if you want them.

Yes! We want you to get your questions answered. Keep in mind that because we do our homework, many of your questions will likely be answered throughout the prepared panel discussion. If you still have an unanswered question at the end, you will have an opportunity to ask. We do request that if you have a specific question that is personal in nature (i.e. can’t be generalized to the group) that you request a consultation with one of our team members following the event.

Absolutely! We want to make the Houston Senior Living Series as meaningful and relevant as possible, so we welcome your suggestions and ideas. Naturally, we prepare the topics for the series well in advance, so be patient concerning time frames for your suggested topic to hit the calendar. Please send us an email through Contact form.

We always welcome service providers and business owners seeking to learn more about serving mature homeowners. If you attend WITH a registered client, there is no fee for you to attend. The fee for business owners and aging services professionals not attending Houston Senior Living Series with a client is $25 payable at the door. Due to limited seating, we reserve the right to provide priority seating to non-professionals.

The professionals hosting, moderating, sponsoring, and serving as panelists have strong convictions about ensuring that people are educated, empowered, and equipped as they prepare for late-life issues, especially where and how they will live. They have donated their time and contributed toward event expenses so that ALL seniors are able to attend regardless of their financial situation.

Annual sponsorships are from January to December each year. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please call 713.826.2731 to request a sponsorship packet or be placed on the waiting list for sponsorships as spaces are limited. Every sponsor must be fully vetted prior to being considered so please provide references and licensing information (if applicable) to expedite your application.

Liz McNeel is a REALTOR®, Real Estate Planner, and a trusted resource with two distinct areas of expertise. She serves clients of all ages throughout the Greater Houston region while also specializing in guiding older adults and their families through late-in-life transitions. Her mission is to present all available options, empowering her clients to make informed decisions with confidence.
Liz is also the Founder of the Houston Senior Living Series, a seminar series featuring candid conversations with expert panelists. These sessions address the unique and complex challenges that seniors and their families face, providing valuable insights and solutions.
Liz attended the University of Houston, and spent over 25 years as a commercial insurance broker before transitioning to residential real estate, where she has been with Keller Williams Metropolitan for over a decade. She holds the Certified Senior Housing Professional (CSHP) designation from the PhD-led program at the Seniors Real Estate Institute, further solidifying her expertise in serving the senior community.
Beyond real estate, Liz is deeply committed to giving back. She volunteers as an Alzheimer’s Association Community Educator and with CarePartners Gathering Place, reflecting her dedication to supporting families navigating the challenges of aging and memory care. She has been administrator and instructor in non-English Speaking Adult program and volunteer with Soldiers Angels.
